of the Rockies is located in Durango, Colorado.
Our
seeds are native to the mountains, foothills, mesas and canyons
of the southern Rocky Mountain Region. Our seeds are hand collected
from native habitats with the utmost moral supervision. we are
dedicated to the appreciation and conservation of Native plants.
We encourage the use of native plants in landscaping for conservation
of resources, preservation of plant communities, and educational
outreach. Responsible collecting practices are followed in accordance
with the Colorado Native Plant Society's Collection Guidelines.
We
cover a large area and a wide range of seed varieties. These
varieties change year to year, though we try to stay consistent.
We are currently experimenting with propagation and hope to offer
more details on propagating native seeds.
At
times seed may not be available due to environmental stresses
on local populations , when this occurs, we attempt to find other
sources to offer these seeds to you.
